So I just did my first major workout in 6 years (man time flies). I did 30 sit-ups, 20 push-ups, 20 lunges, 20 squats and 1 minute of scissor kicks(I don’t know if it’s called that). My conclusion to all of this; I am extremely out of shape, none of that was cardio but I felt like I ran a mile. However, I am excited that I am actually getting this done and proud of myself.
Something I didn’t mention in my first post is that I suffer from depression, ptsd and panic disorder. So this feels like a major triumph for me. I started therapy finally about a month and a half ago and I feel it is working.
I have to give special mention to my wife Esther at her amazing support and encouragement. She did the exercises with me and her positive attitude really helped.
